Srinagar, April28 (ANH): A 28-year-old youth was killed in an alleged hit-and-run case in Kupwara district on Thursday, official sources said.

They said that 28-year-old Jehangir Ahmad Bhat son of Ghulam Mohammed Bhat resident of Kandi district Kupwara was hit by an unknown vehicle in Arampora area of district Kupwara and got seriously injured.
He was immediately rushed to nearby facility, wherefrom he was shifted to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for treatment where doctors declared him brought dead on the arrival, they said.

Local police has registered case in this regard and investigation taken up, sources said. (ANH)
