Srinagar, March 09 (ANH): In a bid to provide platform to the womenfolk, a 29-year-old youth from downtown Srinagar has started publishing magazine to accommodate the write-ups of girls entailing women literature in Urdu language.

Suhail Salim, a downtown resident, has started publishing the magazine to promote Urdu and Kashmiri language and also provide platform to the budding writers.
Talking to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), Salim said that he has published three books of women fiction writers so far which include Harfi Shehreen and Tabasum Zia Kay Afsanay.
He has also published nearly 100 articles so far on social and literary topics.
“I have published about 100 articles on social and literary topics, literary magazines,” Salim said.
He said that he has started quarterly literary magazine “Kohi Maran” which was first published July to September 2020 , the purpose of the publishing ’Kohi Maran’ was to promote Urdu language and literature especially in the city”

He said that the important goal to bring the new generation to the testimony of those who are interested in Urdu prose and poetry and to review the literary articles or critical articles published in Koh-e-Maran, will be very useful for Urdu students and research scholars.
Koh-e-Maran is published quarterly which contains women literature.
