New Delhi, Feb 08 (ANH): More Pakistani arms of auto brands other than Hyundai and Kia have come under fire for their social media posts on Kashmir.

Indian auto dealers’ grouping Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) has condemned the acts of Suzuki Motorcycle Pakistan, Honda Cars Pakistan, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter Pakistan and Isuzu Pakistan for their tweets on Kashmir, UNI reported.

“We remain committed to our motherland & have written to all these companies in India to clear their stand on the same. We also urge Ministry of Heavy Industries & SIAM India to seek clarifications. Kashmir is India’s integral part & will continue to remain so till eternity. Jai Hind!” FADA wrote on Twitter.

The auto dealer association has pilloried Hyundai Pakistan and Kia Pakistan for tweets on Kashmir.

Facing social media backlash after Hyundai’s Pakistan dealer sparked controversy with a post on Kashmir, Korean car major’s India unit had said it has been committed to Indian market for 25 years and firmly stands for strong ethos of respecting nationalism.

“The unsolicited social media post linking Hyundai Motor India is offending our unparalleled commitment and service to this great country. India is second home to the Hyundai brand and we have zero tolerance policy towards insensitive communication and we strongly condemn any such view,” Hyundai India said in a Twitter post.

It further said, “As part of our commitment to India we will continue our efforts towards the betterment of the country as well as its citizens.”

On Saturday, HyundaiPakistanOfficial posted a tweet supporting ‘Kashmir Solidarity Day.’

The post which has now been made inaccessible said, “Let us remember the sacrifices of our Kashmiri brothers and stand in support as they continue to struggle for freedom.”

This triggered a social media outrage with users asking for boycott of Hyundai.

“Hyundai communication disaster is a good learning experience for corporate world to not support Pakistani terrorism. Bad for business. @HyundaiIndia needs to ask @Hyundai_Global  to issue apology and take stringent action against @PakistanHyundai . Or people will #BoycottHyundai,” wrote a Twitter user.
