(Asian News Hub) – Regional Transport Office (RTO) Srinagar hijacked by consolidated non-paid workers as the permanent employees are side-lined by RTO Kashmir allege employees who were appointed under Prime Minister’s Migrant Posts.

One of the employee wishing anonymity told Asian News Hub, that he was appointed under Prime Minister’s Migrant Posts in year 2020 and posted at RTO of Srinagar, from joining i am not assigned any job, i am sitting idle from last two years and when we complaint to Transport Commissioner for same, he never pays attention for our grivenances, another employee who is posted as Inspector in the said department also sitting idle, the Inspector said we are not allowed to join board of inspection since we joined the department, which is illegal as per CSR of Govt of J&K.

It’s pertinent to mention there are more than 10 inspectors posted in 2020 under Prime Minister’s Migrant Posts, but all of them are not allowed to do job as per their post, however, consolidated employees are enjoying the office without salary from decades.

The aggrevied employees said, when they are not getting any salary how does they manage their livelihood.

Attempts made to RTO Kashmir for the comments did not fructify.
