Class 12 exams likely commence between Nov 8-10, Class 10 exams slated after Nov 20: School Edu Dept

(Asian News Hub) – The School Education Department on Tuesday said that the 12th standard exams will likely commence between November-8-10 while the 10th standard is expected to be slated after November-20.

The news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), has learnt that the Director of School Education Kashmir (DSEK), Tassaduq Hussain Mir has said, “12th standard annual regular exams will be conducted between November-8-10.”

He also said that the10th standard exams will likely be held after November-20.

Mir said, “All Arrangements are read. We have conducted the cleanness drive and all the COVID-19 protocols will be followed too.”

He also said that the department has already given the 30 percent relaxation in the syllabi for both the classes.

On asking about the COVID-19 protocol to be followed in the examination Mir said that the department has increased the seating arrangements.

He said, “Room capacity will be increased. In normal times, we were keeping around 40 students in a one examination hall, but this time we will try to keep the half the students in one room in view of COVID-19.”
