(Asian News Hub) – A 20-year-old youth drowned to death in river Lidder in Pahalgam area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday afternoon.
An official told GNS that a youth identified Anies Ahmad son of Gulzar Ahmad Dar from Eidgah Srinagar drowned in River Lidder at Betab Valley Pahalgam.
A police officer also confirmed the incident and said that a massive rescue operation was launched following the incident and the body was later fished out.
Meanwhile Police have taken the cognizance of this incident.
