(Asian News Hub) – Inspector of General of Police Kashmir Zone Vijay Kumar on Friday reiterated his appeal to youth who are wielding gun to surrender.
“IGP Kashmir once again reiterates his appeal to all misguided youth who have joined (militant) folds to shun the path of violence & return to mainstream,” said a police spokesman in a tweet as one of the two militants trapped in a gunfight with joint team of police and army at Hajipora surrendered. Another militant, as per police, was killed in the gunfight.
The top police officer of Kashmir also said that Police was committed to accept them with open arms as society needs them the most especially their parents, the spokesman added.
