Budgam police have arrested a 60-year-old man for committing an unnatural sexual offence with a teenage boy in Chadoora area of central Kashmir’s Budgam.

A police spokesman in a statement said that on 24/12/2022, Police Station Chadoora received a written complaint from parents of a minor boy (aged about 15yrs) stating there in that their son has been kidnapped by a 60-year-old man Mohammad Sidiq Sheikh son of Ali Mohammad Sheikh resident of Gogji Pathri Chadoora and had taken to Jammu where he committed an unnatural sexual offence upon him.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 205/2022 under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station Chadoora and investigation was initiated.
During the course of the investigation, the medical examination of the victim was done and later he was shifted to Child Protection Unit Budgam.

Today, the accused was arrested from Railway Station Budgam and has been booked under POCSO Act, besides other sections of law. Further investigation into the matter is going on.
