Srinagar police on Tuesday evening said to have arrested three boys accused in a hit-and-run case in Hazratbal area of Srinagar on the basis of information provided by vigilant citizen.

They said that a lady was injured in the incident and bike that caused accident has also been seized.
Srinagar police in a tweet said, “On the basis of information provided by vigilant citizen, All the 3 boys involved in hit and run case in hazratbal area arrested by Nigeen PS. Bike that caused accident also seized. They had badly hit & injured a lady. CCTV footage played a huge role in investigation.”
Earlier Srinagar police had requested general public to identify three accused who are involved in a hit & run accident. FIR no 53/2023 U/s 279,337 IPC of Nigeen PS by sharing CCTV photo on their official twitter handle.
