Sopore, Mar 18: In a commendable initiative, photo journalist Junaid Bhat, currently working with Asian News Hub, spearheaded a cleanliness drive along the Jhelum river in Sopore on Tuesday. The river, which had turned into a dumping ground for waste, was restored to a cleaner state through the dedicated efforts of Bhat and his team.
The drive received support from KIE Tuition Centre, which provided the necessary equipment for the cleanup. Notably, the tuition centre had also donated wheelchairs to the Sopore hostel last year, highlighting its commitment to social causes.
