Srinagar, Feb 12: Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, chaired a high-level security meeting at the Police Control Room (PCR) Srinagar, directing J&K Police and its various wings to work in close coordination to eliminate terrorism and its support networks.
Reiterating the administration’s zero-tolerance policy against terrorism, the LG gave security forces a free hand to neutralize terror elements operating in the region. He warned that those aiding, abetting, and financing terrorism would face severe consequences.
The LG also stressed the need for strict action against individuals exploiting cyberspace for disruptive activities and spreading disinformation. He called for aggressive measures to counter fundamentalist and extremist ideologies while ensuring action is taken as per the law.

The meeting comes amid security concerns, with officials being directed to step up efforts in tackling terrorism and safeguarding peace in the Union Territory.
