Srinagar, Feb 04: A labourer from Bihar lost his life, while another sustained injuries after falling from a height while working at a factory in the Lassipora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday.
Two non-local workers were brought to District Hospital Pulwama after the accident at Mehboob-ul-Alam, a corrugated box manufacturing factory in Lassipora, a police officer was quoted as saying by news agency JKNS.
The deceased has been identified as Manesh Kumar, son of Srikantdas Kumar, a resident of Bihar, who suffered a fatal head injury and was declared dead on arrival by doctors.

The injured worker, Mitlas Kumar, son of Chutandas Kumar, also from Bihar, sustained trauma to his right leg and is receiving medical treatment.
Meanwhile, the police have taken cognizance of the incident and have initiated an investigation into the matter.
