Srinagar, Feb 21: A major fire broke out in the Malaratta area of Bohrikadal, Srinagar, damaging five residential houses.
Reports said that the fire originated from a house, which quickly spread to nearby houses, causing significant damage to five residential structures.
Fire tenders, assisted by local police, rushed to the spot and managed to bring the fire under control, preventing further destruction.
Man Suffocates to Death in Baramulla Fire
Fortunately, no loss of life or injuries has been reported so far.
Authorities are assessing the extent of the damage and cause of fire was not known immediately.
