Srinagar Police Register FIR Against Hazratbal Food Vendor for Spreading Infection

Srinagar, Jan 31: Police in Srinagar have registered an FIR against a street food vendor in the Hazratbal area for unhygienic practices and negligent act of spreading infection.

“FIR No 10/2025 registered in Police Station Nigeen under section 271 BNS for an unlawful & negligent act of spreading infection by a street food vendor in Hazratbal area,” Srinagar Police informed on its official X handle.

Altaf Bukhari Demands Monthly Allowance for Unemployed Youth

The action comes after a customer discovered two dead mice inside an open oil tin used by the vendor to fry fritters and other local sweets. A video of the incident also went viral on social media.
