LG and CM Express Condolences Over the Tragic Death of Soldiers in Bandipora Accident

Jammu, Jan 04: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah have expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss of army soldiers in a road accident in Bandipora district of north Kashmir.

The accident occurred when the vehicle carrying the soldiers skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge near SK Payeen.

In a condolence message, the Lieutenant Governor conveyed, “Deeply grieved by the loss of lives of Indian Army personnel due to a tragic road accident in Bandipora. The nation is deeply grateful for their service and commitment.” He extended his condolences to the families of the deceased and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured soldiers.

Chief Minister Omar Abdullah also expressed heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families, offering prayers for strength and solace during this difficult time. He also prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls and wished a speedy recovery to the injured soldiers.
