Srinagar, Jan 07: A massive fire broke out early this morning in the Nowhatta area of Srinagar, causing extensive damage to four residential structures and three shops.
Local sources said that the fire erupted around dawn, spreading rapidly and engulfing the adjacent properties. Firefighters, along with local residents, worked tirelessly to douse the flames and prevent further damage.
An official from the F&ES department told Asian News Hub that four residential structures and three shops were damaged in the fire incident, with no loss of life or injuries reported.

The blaze has left several families homeless and resulted in significant property losses.
Meanwhile police have taken cognizance of the incident and cause of fire was not known immediately.
