Srinagar, Jan 04: A 40-year-old driver from the Mechanical Engineering Wing Department lost his life in a tragic accident after the rim of a truck tyre dislodged while he was changing it in Chanapora Tangmarg, North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, KNS reported quoting officials.
They identified the deceased as Manzoor Ahmad, a resident of Qazipora Tangmarg, police confirmed.
Ahmad was repairing a flat tyre on his truck when the rim suddenly came off with force, critically injuring him. Despite efforts to rush him to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries on the way, they said.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident, and further investigations are underway.
