Srinagar, Dec 27: Following public outcry over increased traditional Kandur roti prices, the All Kashmir Bread Makers and Bakers Union has announced revised rates.
A 42-gram roti will now cost Rs. 7, while a 63-gram roti is priced at Rs. 10. These rates will be applicable for three months, after which they will be reviewed.
The union cited rising ingredient and operational costs as reasons for the initial hike.
