Srinagar, Dec 08: Kashmir is unlikely to witness any significant snowfall or major weather disturbances over the next 10 to 12 days, according to Kashmir Weather, an independent weather forecaster.
They said that the prevailing conditions are stable, with no signs of strong weather systems developing in the region.
The lack of precipitation may raise concerns about water reserves and agricultural activities.

Meanwhile, Director Meteorological department (MeT) has predicted generally cloudy weather with the possibility of light rain over few areas of plains and hilly areas of Jammu division & light rain and snow in higher reaches over few places of Kashmir division during late evening of 8th to 9th forenoon.
He added that the weather would remain generally dry on December 10 and 11 while there is a possibility of light snow over isolated higher reaches on December 12.
From December 13 to 17, the weather would remain generally dry, he said.
