Srinagar, Dec 06: A Mosque, and several residential structures were damaged in a fire incident in Khayar area of Srinagar on Friday late afternoon.
Reports reaching ANH said that a fire broke out at Gousia Mosque in Tabardar Mohalla, Khanyar. The flames spread to several nearby residential structures. The mosque suffered extensive damage, while the residential houses were partially affected.
They said fire tenders, with the assistance of local police and residents, managed to bring the blaze under control.

In the incident, there was no loss of life or any injuries. However, the cause of the fire is being ascertained.
Meanwhile police have taken cognizance of the incident.
