Ganderbal, Dec 17: The District Magistrate Ganderbal has ordered a magisterial enquiry into the death of a youth, Umaan Akbar Ganie S/o Mohd Akbar Ganie, R/o Safapora, who tragically lost his life during the pruning of a Chinar tree in Tulmulla this afternoon.

As per the official order, Mohammad Altaf Bhat (JKAS), Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR), has been appointed as the Enquiry Officer. He has been tasked with conducting a detailed enquiry into the circumstances leading to the incident and submitting the report within one week.

The tragic incident occurred during the pruning of a Chinar tree at Village Tulmulla, Tehsil Tulmulla, sparking concern over safety measures during such operations.

The administration has assured a thorough investigation to ascertain the facts and circumstances surrounding the death.
