Anantnag, Dec 06: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan died of a suspected cardiac arrest while on patrolling duty in Anantnag district, officials said.
A police officer told that a CRPF jawan suddenly collapsed at around 12:35 AM during camp patrolling.
He said, he was immediately rushed to the Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Mattan, where doctors declared him brought dead and has been identified as Azad Ahmad Najar.

Meanwhile, according to an initial medical reports a cardiac arrest is suspected as the cause of death, however, the exact cause will be confirmed after a post-mortem examination. (JKNS)
