SSP Sopore Chairs District Level Police Conference

Sopore, Nov 11: The Sopore Police on Monday held a District Level Police Conference at the Conference Hall of PC Sopore, chaired by SSP Sopore, Divya Dev.

The conference was attended by key senior officers, including ASP Sopore Mir Murtaza-JKPS, SDPO Sopore Sarfaraz Bashir-JKPS, SDPO Rafiabad Aabid Rashid Mir-JKPS, DySP DAR Sopore Dr. Hilal Ahmad Hilal-JKPS, DySP PC Wadoora Khursheed Rasool, along with all SHOs, IC PP’s, and IOs.

The meeting primarily focused on conducting an impact assessment and baseline study of the recommendations made during the DGsP/IGsP Conference-2023. The objective was to evaluate the current status, awareness, and effectiveness of these recommendations in Police District Sopore, particularly in relation to surveillance and operational preparedness.

In addition, the conference explored the integration of advanced technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), to enhance operational efficiency, improve crime prevention strategies, and address emerging criminal activities more effectively.

Officers were directed to prioritize the ground-level implementation of these recommendations and were tasked with preparing detailed reports addressing their progress. These reports will be compiled and submitted to higher authorities for review and further action.
