Srinagar, Nov 3: A man hailing from Handwara was killed after hit by speedy vehicle in Maloora area of Srinagar outskirts on Saturday evening.

Reports reaching ANH said that a pedestrian identified as Mohammad Syed Peer, son of Mohammad Hussain Peer, a resident of Vilgam Handwara was critically injured after hit by speedy Alto car in Maloora on Saturday evening.

They said after the incident, locals rushed him to SKIMS Bemina for treatment, where he was shifted to SKIMS Soura for advanced treatment, however, he was declared dead.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.
