Srinagar, Nov 13: A fresh Western Disturbance is set to impact Jammu and Kashmir on November 15 and 16, bringing light rain and snow in some parts of the Union Territory, according to Kashmir Weather.
Some higher reaches, Zojila Pass, Phase 2 in Gulmarg, Sadhna Top, the higher reaches of Machil, Gurez, and Razdan Top, are likely to receive a moderate spell of snow.
In the plains, mostly cloudy skies are expected, with a chance of showers in some areas, especially in parts of North Kashmir. No significant activity is expected overall.
During this period, daytime temperatures are likely to drop significantly.
Starting November 17, nighttime temperatures across Jammu and Kashmir are likely to decrease sharply, with many plains in Kashmir potentially recording their first sub-zero temperatures of the season.
