Kulgam, Oct 26: The body of missing woman hailing from Srinagar has been recovered from the Veshow Nallah near Aharbal in Kulgam district.
Reports reaching ANH said that the decomposed remains were discovered floating in the river by locals on Friday evening.
They said rescue teams, including police and the SDRF, retrieved the body, which has been identified as Kizfa Farooq, daughter of Farooq Ahmad, a resident of Batamaloo, Srinagar. Kizfa had been missing since September 30, along with a cab driver, Adil Bashir, from Nayid Pora Ranawari.

Initial investigations suggest that the pair may have jumped into the Aharbal waterfall, leading to their disappearance.
The police have initiated an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The body has been sent for medico-legal formalities, and further legal procedures are underway, reports added.
