Srinagar, Oct 27: A body of Jal Shakti employee was recovered from the River Jhelum near the cement bridge in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Sunday.

Reports said that locals found the body floating in river Jhelum, who subsequently informed the police, who then took possession of it.

The deceased has been identified as Abdul Hameed Saraf, son of Ghulam Mustafa Saraf, a resident of Tawheed Gunj, old town Baramulla.

He was working in Jal Shakti Department.

Meanwhile police said that they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. NVI
