Srinagar, Aug 05: Two Srinagar girls were killed, while two others were injured after the vehicle they were travelling in fell into a deep gorge on Handwara-Bangus road.
Quoting officials news agency KNC reported that the private car with four persons on board turned turtle on Handwara-Bangus road and fell into a deep gorge.
A girl identified as Saba Shafi, daughter of Mohammad Shafi Baba of Pantha Chowk Srinagar died on the spot, while three others were taken to NTPHC Qalamabad for treatment, where doctors referred trio to GMC Handwara for specialised treatment.

However, another girl identified as Aleeza also succumbed to her injuries at the hospital, they said.
The injured duo have been shifted to Srinagar hospital for specialised treatment, the condition of one among the injured is also said to be critical.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.
