Srinagar, Aug 09: An improvised explosive device (IED) fitted in pressure was defused by the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) at Balsoo road in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district this morning.
Quoting an official news agency KNC reported that security forces had detected a suspicious pressure cooker believed to be fitted with explosives, at Balsoo road Kulgam. Later, BDS found it was an IED.

“BDS was called to check the suspicious object that turned to be an IED. Same was defused” sources said, adding, traffic movement that was temporarily suspended on the road has now been restored.
