Srinagar, Aug 21: Engineer Rashid, the recently elected Member of Parliament from Baramulla, has submitted a regular bail application in Delhi’s Patiala House Court. Rashid was arrested in connection with a 2017 Jammu and Kashmir terror funding case.
The court has issued a notice to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) regarding Rashid’s plea, signaling a critical juncture in the ongoing legal proceedings. The hearing for this bail application is scheduled for August 28, where the NIA is expected to present its stance on the matter.
