Kupwara, June 12: In a groundbreaking initiative, the District Police of Kupwara has successfully launched a public-friendly operation to recover and return lost and stolen mobile phones to their rightful owners. This operation marks a significant step in building trust between the community and law enforcement.
The Kupwara Police meticulously worked through all pending complaints related to lost and stolen mobile phones, managing to recover devices lost as far back as 2022.
In a heartwarming ceremony held at the District Police Office (DPO), 14 recovered mobile phones were handed over to their delighted owners. Many recipients expressed immense gratitude, highlighting the financial strain they had experienced after losing phones they had purchased with their hard-earned money.
