Srinagar, April 09: Grand Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam on Tuesday evening announced the sighting of Shawwal moon and subsequent Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations in the region tomorrow on April 10.
Mufti Nasir-ul-Islam, as per news agency Kashmir Scroll, said that the moon was sighted in several places particularly in Jammu division.
“After putting the witnesses to the test, we reached the conclusion to announce the start of Shawwal month tomorrow with subsequent celebrations of Eid-ul-Fitr,” Islam said.

“I convey my heartfelt wishes to everyone on this joyous occasion,” Islam said.
