Srinagar, April 02: A minor boy slipped to death in the river Jhelum in Noorbagh area of Srinagar this afternoon.
Reports reaching Asian News Hub said that a 12-year-old boy identified as Muneer Ahmad Khanday, son of Mohammad Maqbool Khanday, a resident of Noorbagh slipped into river jhelum this afternoon.
They said the boy was rescued and shifted to SMHS for treatment, where doctors declared him dead.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance and started investigation.
