Srinagar, March 19: Continuing its action against drug peddlers, Police in Kulgam attached property (Single story residential house) worth approx. ₹1,014,894, measuring 976.76 Sq. ft belonging to notorious drug peddler namely Ghulam Mohammad Mir @Gull Kasai Son of Mohd Abdullah Mir resident of Bugam.
The action was taken under sections 68-E read with 68-F (1) of NDPS Act of 1985 & is linked with case FIR No. 166/2015 U/S 8/15 of NDPS act & 77/2022 U/S 8/15 of NDPS Act of PS Kulgam.
The property was identified as illegally acquired property during the course of investigation/enquiry conducted by Kulgam Police. The property was prima facie acquired from illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances by the said drug peddler.
