Srinagar, March 15: Srinagar police along with the help of locals on Friday evening rescued a man after he jumped into river Jhelum in Rajbagh.
Sources told Asian News Hub that a 22-year-old man hailing from budgam allegedly tried to end his life by jumping into river jhelum from Abdullah bridge in Rajbagh this evening.
They said, after the incident he was quickly recued by police along with the help of locals and shifted to hospital for necessary treatment.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.
