Srinagar, Feb 18: A young woman was found dead under suspicious circumstances in Zoonimar area of Srinagar on Saturday evening.
Quoting official sources news agency Kashmir Scroll reported that a woman (name withheld) resident of Babapora at present Tengpora Zoonimar was found dead under suspicious condition on Saturday evening.
They said she was immediately taken to nearby hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead on arrival.

However, the family of the deceased woman alleged that their daughter had been murdered and not died of natural causes.
“We demand a thorough probe into the mysterious death of our daughter. We are sure that she has not died of natural causes but was murdered in cold-blood,” they said.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard and after medico-legal formalities the body was handed over to family for last rites this afternoon. Hundreds attended her funeral.
