Srinagar, Jan 18: A man allegedly jumped into river Jhelum from renovated old Habbakadal bridge in Srinagar this morning.
Witnesses said that an unidentified man from Dalgate allegedly tried to end his life by jumping into Jhelum from renovated Habbakadal bridge this morning.
They said, locals instantly launched resued operation and fished out the body from Jhelum and shifted him to SMHS hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.
