Baramulla, Jan 11: In a concerted effort to ensure optimal functioning of the healthcare facilities, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Minga Sherpa today undertook a comprehensive visit to the Primary Health Center (PHC) in Sheeri.
The visit, which spanned across all sections of the hospital, aimed at obtaining a firsthand appraisal of the services being provided to patients.
During the visit, Block Medical Officer (BMO) provided the DC with a detailed overview of the healthcare facilities available at PHC Sheeri including the current infrastructure, medical staff, and the array of services offered to the community.

As part of the assessment, the DC inspected the duty roster, emphasizing the significance of efficient workforce management to ensure round-the-clock healthcare delivery.
Later, Sherpa directly engaged with the local community, addressing their concerns and assured them that all genuine grievances raised would be taken up in a time-bound manner.
The DC expressed a firm commitment to improving healthcare services in the region, acknowledging the crucial role of PHC Sheeri in catering to the health needs of the local populace. The visit reflects a proactive approach to governance, with a focus on continuous improvement and community well-being.
