Baramulla, Jan 18: At least eighteen cattle charred alive and three residential houses among four structures damaged in a major fire incident in Uri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district this morning.
An official said, three double storeyed residential houses, one double storeyed cowshed were gutted and six cow among eighteen cattles were charred alive, in a fire incident that broke out in Deche village of Uri.
He said, due to absence of motorable road it took time for fire fighters to reach the spot. However, there was no loss of human life or injury reported in the incident.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and cause of fire was not known immediately.
