Handwara, Dec 30: Two families were rendered homeless after a massive fire gutted a residential house in Handwara area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district this evening.
Reports said that two families were rendered homeless after a massive fire engulfed in a residential house in Sofi Mohalla area of main town Handwara.

They said firefighters along with help of police and locals doused the flames to avoid any further damage. However, their was no loss of life or injury to any.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and cause of fire was not known immediately, the affected owners have been identified as Bashir Ahmad Bhat and Abdul Majeed Bhat.
