Cyber Police Kashmir has taken cognizance of instigative and provocative contents being shared on various social media handles, pages.

They said, action under law is being initiated.

Cyber Police also advised social media users to refrain from sharing provocative & inappropriate content from their handles, pages.

It is pertinent to mention that protests erupted at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Srinagar over a student’s social media post which allegedly hurt religious sentiments.

A case has been already filed by Srinagar Police in this regard.
