A policeman, who was injured critically in a road accident more than a week ago in Qazigund, succumbed to his injuries at SKIMS soura this morning.

Quoting an official news agency Kashmir Scroll reported that a policeman identified as Waseem Ahmad Chesti, son of Mohd Ameen Chesti, a resident of old town Baramulla, was injured a week ago in Qazigund succumbed to his injuries after being hospitalized for a week at SKIMS Soura.
In this regard, the police have already registered a case, and further investigation has been initiated.
