An employee of Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) was killed, while biker was injured in a road accident in Rawalpora area of Srinagar on Saturday, reports said.

Reports reaching Asian News Hub (ANH) said that an SMC employee identified as Ghulam Nabi Sheikh, resident of Shangus Anantnag, was critically injured after he was hit by biker in Rawalpora area of Srinagar this evening.
After the incident, SMC employee and biker was shifted to SMHS hospital for treatment. However, SMC employee succumbed to his injuries this evening, they said.
The condition of biker is said to be stable, and his identity was not known immediately, reports added.
Meanwhile police have taken cognizance of the incident, and bike has been siezed.
