A man died while his brother was injured after receiving electric shock in Babapora Zainpora area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district on Monday morning.

Reports reaching Asian News Hub (ANH) said that two brothers identified as Mashooq Ahmad Hajaam and Irfan Ahmad Hajaam received electric shock while repairing electricity in Babapora area of Zainapora this morning.
They said, after the incident, both the injured were rushed to DH Anantnag for treatment, where Mashooq Ahmad Hajaam was declared brought dead, while Irfan Ahmad is being treated.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.
