A teenager was killed after the motorcycle he was riding crashed into an electric pole in Marhama village of Bijbehara in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday late night.

Umar Maqbool Mantoo(18) son of Mohd Maqbool resident of Waghama lost control over the bike and collided with electric Pole, resulting in critical injures to him.
He was immediately evacuated to Sub District Hospital Bijbehara where from referred to GMC Anantnag for advance treatment. However he succumbed to his injuries.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident and started investigation. KS
