A teenage boy drowned to death in a canal in Nowpora area of Sopore on Monday evening.

Reports reaching Asian News Hub (ANH) said that a teenage boy identified as Abrar Ahmad Naikoo, a resident of Nowpora, drowned in canal near Nihar Novpora this evening.
They said that the body of a teenager was fished by police with the help of locals and subsequently rushed to medical facility, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident.
