Says can’t stay at one position till death like NC leaders
After resigning as Youth President Apni Party, Junaid Azim Mattu on Tuesday said that he won’t quit the party but would not stay at the position till death like National Conference (NC).
Talking to the Asian News Hub (ANH), Mattu, who is also incumbent Mayor of Srinagar, said that he has stayed as Youth President for two years. “I am 37 now and the youth president should not be more than 35 years old,” he said, adding that it is NC leaders who don’t quit from the post till the death.
“I am not going to quit the party, but I have already stated that I would extend my support to my successor and the party as well,” he said.
