Demand authorities to accommodate rest of 170 doctors too
Scores of FMG doctors on Monday staged a protest against the administration for failing to accommodate all the pass outs like previous years.
The aspirants assembled at press enclave Srinagar and highlighted their demands.
They said that unlike previous years, the authorities have accommodated only 230 aspirants while 170 others have been pushed to the wall.
“It is for the first time that the number of doctors being accommodated with stipends has been reduced at GMCs. In the previous years, a total of 400 FMGs were being accommodated with stipends,” a protesting doctor told Asian News Hub (ANH).

“Despite being professionals, we demand the government to accommodate the rest of the doctors even without stipends so that our training period is completed,” she said.
