A minor boy died after being hit by a vehicle in Baghpati Surfraw area of Kangan in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Tuesday.

Quoting an official news agency—KNO reported the boy was hit by a speedy vehicle Baghpati area of Gund today, resulting in his on spot death.

He said the boy’s body was taken to PHC Gund for medico-legal formalities. The boy has been identified as Naseer Ahmad Khatana (8) of Baghpati Surfraw.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of the incident.
