A scooty rider was killed after allegedly hit by Jammu and Kashmir Power Development Department (JKPDD) vehicle at Sanat nagar by-pass area of Srinagar on Thursday afternoon.

Reports reaching Asian News Hub (ANH) said that a scooty rider identified as Javaid Ahmad Mir resident of Gojwara Srinagar was allegedly hit by JKPDD truck near Sanat nagar by-pass this afternoon, resulting in his onspot death.
They said that local police has reached the spot, and shifted the body to hospital for legal-medico formalities.
Meanwhile, police have registered case in this regard.
